Due to the Niacin content in these particular products, a person may have a temporary ‘flushing”, or redness of the skin and a feeling of warmth. This reaction is perfectly normal and will subside in 20-30 minutes. It can be avoided by consuming protein before taking these supplements. Again, this is a perfectly normal, safe reaction to Niacin. Niacin causes expansion of the capillaries.
